I have a lot of mixed emotions when it comes to fall break. Like every other college student, I love it. Of course. However, I always get so excited, and the break always seems to be so short. So by the time I finally finish visiting everyone at home, and get ready to start to actually rest, the break is over and it’s time to go back to school. And even worse, sometimes teachers assign projects over fall break. This has been rare in my experiences here, but this year everyone made up for it. I got assigned 3 papers, Spanish homework, and a photo project. So far, I have knocked out one paper, the photo project, and my Spanish, but the worst is yet to come, I fear. I saved my Shakespeare midterm (2 papers) for last. Unfortunately, at this moment I still have no idea on how to go about answering these two essay questions. However, I still have 2 nights to get it done, so cross your fingers!
As for break, I enjoyed spending some time with my family and my friends. I had a friend from GWU come stay at my house one day and we went around and enjoyed the sights of Concord with a few other friends. While I am sad that the break seemed so short, it was a welcome time for relaxation from crazy school life, and for that I am so thankful.
