Ever wake up one morning smiling and say, “man! What a great day to be alive!”
Well, I have those days a lot at Gardner-Webb. One of the most amazing things about this school is that it’s secretly surrounded by mountains. You can’t really see the mountains until the sun is rising or setting, and then sometimes if you look at just the right time, you can catch the sun caught on the edge of one of the mountains.
I thought I’d share a picture I took a couple weeks ago when I was walking to breakfast early one morning. It was about 7:00am and I was pretty mad I was awake, but once I saw this view between my dorm room and the caf I couldn’t help but smile!
How could you not love a campus like this??
I'm a Journalism major by day and a competitor by night. I am fairly athletic and I would much rather be outside throwing the football than inside painting my fingernails. I love, love, love my sweat pants and hoodies; they get me through my classes everyday. Comfort is a must in college. I use sarcasm as a second language and I cannot go a day without laughter. Gardner-Webb is definitely home for me and I'd like you to feel the same way! Enjoy reading my ramblings and feel free to ask any questions!

im only a junior in high school, but ive already committed to play soccer at Gardner Webb. im super excited but nervous at the same time. Hopefully i like it as much as you seem to
