My friend Jennifer, Gardner-Webb class of 2008, just returned from Korea. She’s been there for the last year teaching English. She came back to visit campus this weekend along with two other friends. They were seniors when Amber and I were freshman, we all lived on the same hall, and we made some really good friendships. Being scattered all over the world has made it hard to get together, so I haven’t seen them all since August 2008. It was great to be reunited!

My name's Katie Axelson, but everyone just calls me "Katie Ax." I am a junior English and Spanish double major with an American Sign Language minor. I suppose it's obvious that I like to talk. I'm from Wisconsin, so, yes, I apparently have a northern accent. However, I love North Carolina (especially when it "snows"). I'm rarely caught without a pen, paper, camera, and hand sanitzier.
