So last week was fall break. My break wasn’t too exciting. I went home (lincolnton) and spent time with my family. But before I left to go home I redecorated my hall to express a fall theme. I made trees out of construction paper and we even have a nice fall scenery to go along with the hall. One nice thing about living in the dorms on campus is you have GREAT RA’s (like myself) to decorate the halls and make it all nice and pretty. I like to think that my hall is the best decorated because I put a lot of time and effort into because I don’t like bare walls, and I like to use my creativity skills as much as possible. Anyways, about my fall break…I went home on Friday, Saturday my boyfriend Jordan came over and we went to the Surf and Turf fish camp with my mom and dad. Sunday I went to church, and Monday I went shopping with my mom and that was my break in a nut shell. I enjoyed the extra sleep and the time I got to spend with my family.
I'm a senior Marketing Major here at Gardner-Webb University. I'm from the big town of Lincolnton, NC where I have lived all my life. Here at college, I enjoy hanging out with my friends and enjoying my senior year of college before "real life" begins. I work in the admissions office as an Student Recruiter, and I'm also an RA, so if you have any questions about dorm life, feel free to let me know! A lot of the girls on my hall call me "Princess" because I'm very girly and I guess I take a long time to get ready...so the girls are always like "we're waiting on the princess" so thats how it all started my freshmen year and it has just stuck through the years...So, I hope you enjoy reading my "Royal Thoughts" from a Gardner-Webb Princess.
